Who We Are
DeAlmas is Spanish for “of the soul.” Founded in DeAlmas Women’s Institute is dedicated to providing women the opportunity to reclaim, honor, and express their divine feminine gifts, power and unique human potential. We offer workshops emphasizing spiritual and personal development within a holistic context, cultivating leadership and providing tools for self awareness and transformation. By reconnecting women to their inherent feminine power, we impact broader communities and help create a more humane, just and compassionate world.
Ongoing Events
Using psycho-spiritual, mujerista, feminist approach, DeAlmas creates empowering, reflective and rejuvenating events for Women of Color across NYC, the US, and the globe. Our events cultivate self-awareness, personal and spiritual development, tapping into our Divine Feminine power from the inside/out. Our cornerstone offerings include Visiones, Natural Women Retreat, The Goddess Fest, and Women of Light, Peace and Power, and our ongoing program, DeCorazon Connections, among others.
